BODY
UV-stabilised HDPE
A robust plastic silt trap designed to intercept and retain settled debris before it enters downstream pipework, treatment stages or attenuation systems. Its straight-through DN225 connections support efficient flow, while the 300 mm internal sump provides a dedicated sediment collection zone for straightforward inspection and maintenance.
Effective sediment capture
Helps protect downstream drainage assets from avoidable silt
build-up.
Accessible maintenance
A 350 mm clear opening supports routine inspection and cleaning.
Straight-through connection
DN225 inlet and outlet connections align at 180 degrees for uncomplicated integration.
Durable lightweight construction
The UV-stabilised HDPE body is corrosion resistant and easier to
handle on site.
| Clear chamber / access diameter | 600 mm |

| Access cover | 350 mm clear; load class selected for location |
INSTALLATION PRINCIPLES
Coordinate the chamber with the approved drainage design and confirm final cover level, pipe invert and access requirements before installation.
- Fit the reducing cap concentrically and seal all joints
watertight. - Provide at least 150 mm of compacted granular bedding and surround.
- Keep cover and frame loads structurally independent from the plastic riser.
- Assess groundwater conditions and include anti-flotation
measures where required. - Leak-test connections before completing final backfill.
